The JD Dragon Disability Rights podcast recently invited our CEO, MS Esmeralda Micallef Zarafa, to join him on his podcast titled: Helping people with disabilities in Malta find employment. During their conversation, several topics related to employment were covered.

The JD Dragon Disability Rights Podcast was set up by Joshua Downey. Joshua was born with Cerebral Palsy and Dyspraxia. Through his struggles, he is dedicated to sharing his story and experiences with people around the world. Joshua explores various issues people with disabilities face and how their lives are affected.

The Lino Spiteri Foundation was set up as a Public Social Partnership between the Employment & Training Corporation and the Empower Coop Ltd. The aim of the Foundation is to enhance inclusion through empowering vulnerable individuals and working closely with civil society through a Council of NGOs that will support and guide the direction of the organisation.

Central to this is the individual who aspires to employment, inclusion and greater independence. The foundation’s role is to give them support and an opportunity to reach their fullest potential, whatever it may be.
